Dr. Shobhakar Dhakal: Dr. Dhakal is Executive Director of the Global Carbon Project, an international research programme under the auspicious of Earth System Science Partnerships. For last ten years, his work focuses on modeling and policy analyses for urban energy use and carbon emission in cities of Asia and local climate policy. Lately he is actively developing Urban and Regional Carbon Management Initiative.
Professor Ram M. Shrestha: Professor Shrestha is a Professor of Energy Economics and Planning of Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, with over 20 years of research and teaching experience in the areas of energy economics, energy planning and policy, climate policy and urban energy and carbon issues.
Dr. Richard Dawson: Dr. Dawson leads climate change and cities program of Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research from University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the United Kingdom and actively developing integrated assessment model to understand and plan for mitigation and adaptation of climate change for the City of London.
Dr. Debra Roberts: Dr. Roberts is deputy head of Development Planning and Management Unit of EThekwini Municipality (City of Durban) of South Africa, which is a leader in operationizing the concept of open space management for integrating carbon management into local planning and lately studying applicability of urban scale integrated assessment model in actual urban planning.
